Wilderness, Character & Preparation

A very happy new year to you all, I hope and pray that 2022 has begun well for you.

As always, I think it is important at this time of year to encourage you, my dear brothers and sisters in Christ, to push into the Word of God this year, making it the bedrock, the foundation of every day. We feed our natural bodies, it is imperative that with feed our spirits also. It is when our spirits are strong that they can influence and strengthen our souls in the battles we face from our fleshy desires and the temptations that try to ensnare us (Genesis 4:7).

So a good daily dose of Biblical scripture will aid, strengthen and help guide us along the path that God has for us (Proverbs 3:5-6). It is with this in mind (walking on God’s path for us) that I really implore you to take some time to watch this teaching from John Bevere on TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network) as he shares a great word on ‘Finding Strength & Purpose in your Wilderness’ and the fact that wildernesses are all part of God’s path for our lives. It is how we respond that determines our experience.

I do pray that this teaching gives you insight, support and motivation to press on and press through the challenges that you maybe facing, as much as it has done for me.

May God bless you,

‘But test everything that is said. Hold on to what is good.’
1 Thessalonians 5:21 (New Living Translation)
