Below is a short message I shared this morning on a WhatsApp group that I am a part of.
I thought I’d share it here because as believers none of us are exempt from the battleground of the mind, it one of Satan’s most popular and I believe, successful forms of attack. If you’re like me, any biblical help/arsenal I can equip myself with in order to enforce Christ’s victory in this area of my life, the better.
The message and links below:

Hi guys, I pray that you are having a good Monday so far.
I have been doing this short daily devotional on the area of our thoughts. It has been very helpful and so I felt it would be good to share the link, there is also a book available. Here is an except from day 3 of the devotion:
‘Lies such as Iβm helpless, Iβm worthless, Iβm unlovable, shape our thinking, our emotions, and the way we respond to the world around us. They trap us in their cycle of distraction and distortion and pain, preventing us from recognizing the truth we should believe. Most detrimentally, they change how we view God. Every lie we buy into about ourselves is rooted in what we believe about God.’
Our thoughts are so important as they shape and mould us. I read that we have on average 30,000 thoughts per day, that an average of 20 to 21 thought’s per minute. That’s a lot of thought’s.
Just as we service our π or take care of our physical bodies ππΎποΈββοΈπ΄ββοΈπββοΈβ½π, we need to take care of our π§ π (thought life).
2 Corinthians 10:5 says:
” β΅We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedientΒ to Christ.”
My mind is constantly attacked during the course of any given day in many different guises and areas. I’m guessing I’m not alone in that.
I pray this is a timely help for you or someone you can share this with.
God bless you all ππΎ
Brother Don ππΎ
That was the short message I sent and I hope that it is a timely reminder for you also. As a spirit filled believer in Jesus Christ, you fight from victory and not for victory, as the war has already been won on the cross of Calvary, by our saviour Jesus Christ.
I encourage you to take control of your thought life by feeding on the written Word of God as given in His bible. In doing so you can build up your resistance to the onslaught from our adversary – Satan. This short devotion by Jennie Allen (Get Out of Your Head) is a good place to start, there is also the book by the same title available.
God bless you all,

βBut test everything that is said. Hold on to what is good.β
